Greetings in the name of our Heavenly Father. I would like to thank you for considering Salem Lutheran School for your child's Christian education. Salem Lutheran School has grown over the past years to include a pre-school for three and four-year olds, and an elementary school serving kindergarten through the sixth grade. During the 2005/2006 school year, we will be adding seventh grade to our current program. The program includes extended care for all ages enrolled. It is the school's mission to provide students with a quality academic and spiritual education, equipping them for useful lives of Christian leadership, discipleship, and service. We consider it vital that our students come to the knowledge of the Triune God as their Creator, Redeemer, and Sanctifier, even as we encourage intellectual, social and emotional development.
Our curriculum stresses traditional academic subjects, placing special emphasis on reading as fundamental to all learning. The Salem Lutheran School program is also enriched with music, art, and computer courses. German is taught starting in grade four. Instruction in Christian doctrine is integral to all teaching and is based on scripture.
